Shadow and Bone Triad

This piece is inspired by the 3 main characters in the Leigh Bardugo's book trilogy and the Netflix series Shadow and Bone.

The light central piece is inspired by the character of Alina Starkov, The Sun Summoner; The earthy piece on the right is inspired by The Tracker, Malyen Oretsev; and the dark piece on the left is inspired by The Darkling.  The three pieces are connected using macrame elements illustrative of aspects of their relationships with Alina, and hers with each of them.

A detailed write up of the elements in each piece will be included when shipped; everything in the piece was thoughtful in its inclusion and is symbolic of an element of the character and/or story.

• Created with various types of wool, silk, velvet, cotton, leather and synthetic fibres.
• Each bead on the light and dark pieces were handmade by me using salt dough, glitter, and resin.
• Each hoop is 14"
• Total width at widest part: 132 cm (52" or 4 1/3 ft)
• Total hight at tallest part: 69 cm (27" or 2 1/3 ft)

 Many of the fibres used were handcrafted and purchased from other small businesses. Shop small and support many small businesses.

I have tried to represent the colours as accurately as possible, but due to differences in screens, the colours may look a little different in person.
