Four Seasons: Winter

I was inspired while driving from Alberta to Ontario for vacation, by the way the trees had changed in the short time before we drove back. On our way there in early September, the trees were lush and green, but on the way back, many of them had turned these vibrant, firey colours. I wanted to represent this change through fibre.

• Includes birch branch, foraged from northern Ontario

Many of the fibres used were handcrafted and purchased from other small businesses. Shop small and support many small businesses.

I have tried to represent the colours as accurately as possible, but due to differences in screens, the colours may look a little different in person.
